These obstacle support bases can be filled with water or sand and with the addition of a pole (not included) can be used to support your hoop or curtain and flags etc.

There are several configurations that the base will support.

• The 40mm curtain pole will fit directly into the base. We use a little electrical tape to make this a snug fit.
• There is a screw in piece stored in the bottom of the base which can be used for 32mm pipe. For very large horses you may wish to use this extender piece to increase the height. Just let us know when you order and we can include an additional connector pipe for the curtain.
• There is an additonal small diameter option which is useful for holding a flag on a stick.

These large support bases are recommended to support the curtain and hoop outdoors in light winds.
