Become a Horse Agility Accredited Judge
Are you passionate about equine behaviour, fair play, and the positive growth of Horse Agility? Becoming a Horse Agility Accredited Judge could be a rewarding way to deepen your involvement in the sport while supporting venues and competitors around the world.
Who Can Apply?
Anyone with a strong understanding of equine behaviour and the values of Horse Agility can apply, provided you meet the following basic criteria:
- You must be an active member of The International Horse Agility Club
- You should have experience in groundwork or liberty-based horse training
- You must be able to judge fairly, regardless of training style, background, or personal preference
Our Club is proud to welcome a wide variety of training methods and philosophies, and our judges must uphold this inclusive spirit by demonstrating consistency, neutrality, and respect for all competitors.
What Does the Role Involve?
As an Accredited Judge, you’ll be listed on the official register of Horse Agility Judges and may be invited to:
- Judge online video submissions for our global competitions
- Support in-person Horse Agility events at independent venues
- Offer feedback and scores that help competitors grow while maintaining the integrity of the sport
- Act as an ambassador for fairness, fun, and positive horsemanship
This is an important role that contributes directly to the quality and reputation of Horse Agility worldwide. Accredited Judges are trusted representatives of the Club and play a key part in helping new venues and handlers engage with the sport.
