I’m Martine van de Velde – van Aken, positive reinforcement/R+ trainer and instructor.

I live in the Netherlands and together with my wife I care for our four horses. Three of those are primitive breeds (Sorraia crossbreeds), and this is where my company’s name Positive Primitives originates from.

I offer in person lessons in the north west part of the Netherlands, as well as worldwide online coaching.

My lessons are centered around healthy movement and posture, emotional balance for equines and their people and of course having fun together while training.
