[POSTPONED] Natural Horsemanship meets Horse Agility Clinic
31st May 2020, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Natural Horsemanship meets Horse Agility Clinic POSTPONED
Natural Horsemanship and obstacles combine in this clinic.
Providing an atmosphere with teaching focused on relaxation, communication, confidence, and connection to grow your relationship with your horse. Learn and deepen a range of skills and techniques in the morning and use obstacles in the afternoon to enhance the connection.
During the morning session we will have theory and practical sessions on a range of subjects from Breathing, Space, Phases, Equipment, Herd Behaviour, Leadership, Energy and more. The afternoon will see the arena filled with a range of obstacles where you can turn your focus on trying out new skills you learnt in the morning session. Time can be taken to allow your horse to really understand the connection you are asking for and find confidence and relaxation in what you are doing.
This clinic allows you to focus on your relationship with your horse to allow you to ask for more refinement.
Groundwork based but working towards riding in a halter can be developed over the sessions. Individuals own learning targets can be set and the teaching will be focused on the needs of those taking part.
Aimed at all. Those with natural or Horse Agility Experience and those wishing to explore and develop a new approach. Taught by Natural Horsewoman and Horse Agility Accredited Trainer Melanie Garner. This clinic will be in the indoor school.
